These are our pastured and happy chickens experiencing their winter playground.  To ensure proper nutrition, these chickens have their summer pasture behind the fence you see in the background which they are rotated on in the summer.  They are also given fermented grain as feed which is also soy-free.  

We also rotate our chicken breeds every year so we know where a breed of chick is in their life.  It is very hard to figure out the age of chickens after they molt.  They can look like brand new chickens.
